This I found on the 1881 census, so they wer both alive then. I had a look on the NBI but it is so incomplete, & there was no mention of either Emma or Edwin. The only suggestion is that you keep plugging away at the Yorkshire sites, and with the Wakefield & district family history societies. Over here much info from these societies costs money as they are run by volunteers, but they can be so helpful with guiding folk in the right direction.
